ESCalate-JISC HE in FE Conference 'Inspiration for Practice'

Inspiration for Practice will be held at the Trident Centre, Warwick on
Wednesday 26th May 2010.

This conference is designed for HE practitioners working in an FE
environment, and will examine the challenges and opportunities of that
situation, as well as offering some ideas for excellent practice. One of
the keynote speakers will be John Storan, Director of Continuum at the
University of East London (UEL), an international authority on Widening
Participation strategy and practice, which is a topic of immediate
importance for all HE in FE practitioners.

Other sessions will include;
-   lecturers' experiences of the expansion in HE provision in FE
colleges
-   working towards effective practice in a digital age
-   enhancing the in-service teacher trainee experience in the lifelong
learning sector
