Activities and Belonging Coordinator, Students’ Union, University of Surrey

You will be part of the Activity Zone and work under the leadership of the Student Activities Manager - coordinating the Zone’s contribution to the Union’s key showcase activities and events which contribute to students’ sense of belonging at Surrey.  Also be the key contact for the Students’ Union’s Community Hub – which provides students with the opportunity to donate and purchase second hand items in a sustainable community venue on campus. You will work closely with Union staff and elected student leadership in the Activity Zone to ensure that student led events are engaging, accessible, well organised and delivered within budget; and on the organisation of key showcase belonging events throughout the year, such as student welcome events, cultural celebrations, and sustainability activities. You will also work closely as part of the team with the Student Activities Coordinator to ensure there is adequate infrastructure and support for student activities within the Union.
