Director of LEAPS (Lothian Equal Access Programme for Schools)

You will provide strategic leadership and management for the development and delivery of the LEAPS programme, consistent with the priorities identified by the LEAPS partnership. LEAPS is hosted by the University of Edinburgh, and is a successful and unique widening participation programme, funded by its higher education and local council partners as well as the Scottish Funding Council to increase progression to higher education in South East Scotland.  LEAPS is also supported by Skills Development Scotland (SDS) and delivers the Scottish Funding Council’s (SFC) Schools for Higher Education Programme (SHEP) in South East Scotland, as part of the National Schools Programme.
