Provost and Deputy President

The role carries responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of Imperial’s academic affairs and is instrumental in driving forward the institution’s academic mission and ensuring excellence across our teaching and research portfolio. You will be a pivotal member of the University Management Board and Council, working closely with the President and colleagues across the institution to shape institutional strategy and oversee its implementation.  You will have responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of Imperial’s academic affairs, ensuring excellence across education, research, and translation activities while representing the university at the highest levels nationally and internationally.  As the academic leader of the institution, the Provost works with the President to lead Imperial’s academic endeavour, holding direct line management responsibility for the Deans of Faculties, Vice-Provost for Education and Student Experience, Vice-Provost for Research and Enterprise, Registrar, Associate Provosts for Academic Promotions, EDI, Estates Planning, Societal Engagement and Sustainability, and Director of Bioservices
