Student Mentoring Officer

The post holder will provide support, training, and guidance to the dedicated team of Student Mentors, enabling them to engage with first-year students across their course - when students feel supported, and part of their university community, they are more likely to thrive and succeed - helping to build a strong and supportive community alongside current students. Team the skills will complement each other as they aim for an environment that provides plenty of opportunity to learn, grow and develop together.  A key part of this role is to work alongside colleagues from their Academic Schools to support their Student Mentors to develop and plan initiatives, events, and activities to enhance engagement, a sense of belonging and community.
