Student Support Coordinator (Priority Groups)

You will be the single point of contact specifically for students who are care-experienced, carers, or estranged and coordinate dedicated support for these students, working closely with the Student Support Coordinator (Forced Migrants) who supports students who are asylum seekers or refugees. You will advise on the development of future targeted initiatives and work with colleagues to ensure support is effective and sustained, providing advice on and support the administration of financial support and queries from students within the remit. You will support the establishment and oversee a peer mentoring programme to support students from underrepresented groups; and build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues working in welfare and academic roles across the College to coordinate support and support the creation and delivery of training and resources to upskill colleagues.
