You will enjoy a varied role – in a typical week they might travel to another UK city to deliver an inspiring talk to students currently considering their options for life after school or college, plan and organise the logistics of an on-campus event, create engaging presentations or work with colleagues from across the University on large scale projects such as residential summer schools or Clearing. A key element of this role will be working as part of the team that delivers the Newcastle University supported entry route(PARTNERS); delivering PARTNERS specific recruitment events and activities throughout the year as well as leading and supporting elements of the PARTNERS application process, and organisation and delivery of the July residential Year 13 PARTNERS Academic Summer School. You will be involved in the organisation and delivery of on campus and virtual events for prospective students, and coordinate teams of Student Ambassadors, as well as other members of the UK Recruitment Team to deliver them successfully. You will present to large audiences of students, parents/carers and teachers, manage event budgets and carry out comprehensive evaluation, including the preparation of reports. And support other University events and activities as required such as Open Days and Confirmation and Clearing. Alongside the Student Recruitment Manager, you will support and coordinate key activity associated with the Access element of the University’s Access and Participation Plan which includes specific projects including Westgate Hill and Insight 2Uni mentoring.
