Access and Participation Manager

You will lead and motivate a team and play a key role in shaping the design and delivery of schools and colleges outreach work, ensuring the work of the team meets the objectives outlined within the University’s Access and Participation Plan (APP). You will use data and on the ground insights to identify new opportunities within outreach to enable the university to deliver first class outreach activities and initiatives. You will act as a leader and role model for the team that facilitates exceptional outreach, engagement and attainment raising activities, and will support them with their personal and professional development, working with them to best ensure collaboration and a shared vision towards key priorities.  You will be required to set objectives linked to the operationalisation and delivery of the University’s APP and monitor and evaluate the work of the team. Additionally, you will continually review the outreach offer, and ensure professional standards are maintained and applied within all areas of outreach and schools and colleges engagement.
