Specialist Wellbeing Adviser

You will provide specialist emotional and practical support to students on the Canterbury and Medway campuses, particularly in relation to sexual misconduct, hate incidents and discrimination, spiking, domestic abuse, stalking, harassment and bullying. You will offer specialist advice and support to students who have experienced sexual misconduct, harassment, bullying, domestic abuse, discrimination, spiking, stalking or hate incidents, including advice and support on accessing emotional and practical support engaging with external services as they require. provide guidance to students who may wish to raise their case formally, through University Complaints Procedures or referral to the Police. You will offer specialist advice and support to students experiencing a wide range of either pre-existing mental health difficulties that arise following an incident, this includes external liaison where needed. complete risk assessments for students following serious assaults or in abusive domestic violence settings.
